Tecno Pop 9 5G arrives with Dimensity 6300, 120Hz screen, and 48MP camera

Tecno launched the Pop 8 last October, and as promised, the brand unveiled the Pop 9 5G today.

The Tecno Pop 9 5G, "designed with Gen Alpha, college students, and trendsetters in mind," comes with the Dimensity 6300 SoC, 4GB RAM, up to 128GB storage, and Android 14. It's built around a 120Hz display of unknown resolution and diagonal with a centered punch-hole for a selfie camera whose resolution isn't known either.

However, we do know that the primary camera on the rear uses a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor. What's also known is the Tecno Pop 9 5G's battery size and charging speed - 5,000 mAh and 18W.

The rest of the Tecno Pop 9 5G's highlights include a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, an IR blaster, IP54 rating, USB-C, and dual speakers with Dolby Atmos.

The Tecno Pop 9 5G comes in Midnight Shadow, Azure Sky, and Aurora Cloud colors with two memory options - 4GB/64GB and 4GB/128GB, priced at INR9,499 ($115/€100) and INR9,999 ($120/€110), respectively.

The Tecno Pop 9 5G is up for pre-booking in India through Amazon.in, with sales commencing on October 7. It will come bundled with two free skins in yellow and blue colors.
