The updated Xiaomi 15T Pro is arguably the closest the T series have come to the true flagships. However, the timing of its release once again puts it in a less than ideal position in Europe and a number of other markets. Had it arrived early in the year its €900 base version would have undercut actual flagships significantly. Now, however, it goes against those early 2025 top models on equal footing.
However, history shows that Xiaomi is quick to drop the T series prices after its release so we actually expect it to face upper mid-range rivals in a couple of months.
Having said that, two of the phone's biggest rivals are the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE and the Realme GT 7 Pro. Take the Realme GT 7 Pro if you are looking for raw performance and outstanding battery life, or go for the Galaxy S25 FE for the better software and longer support. Realme's phone also charges faster over a cable, but misses the wireless charging.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 15T Pro promises better camera performance, fast wireless charging, and a more premium and likable design. Also, the handset isn't far off the Realme GT 7 Pro in terms of battery endurance.

Alternatively, you should look into Honor 400 Pro, which is a regular in our recommendations. It almost matches the 15T Pro's main camera prowess, offers a better selfie camera and provides roughly the same battery and charging experience at a much lower price. So, in case you are looking for a 15T Pro alternative shortly after launch, you can save a few bucks and grab the Honor 400 Pro instead.
In India, the 15T Pro directly competes with the vivo X200 Pro at launch, but the vanilla X200 will likely be a more appropriate alternative later on. Both are part of vivo's flagship lineup, offering vivo's class leading image processing. Still, the 15T Pro has a larger main sensor and a higher-quality 5x telephoto camera.
Lastly, if camera is not your priority you may prefer the toned-down Xiaomi 15T. It offers the same user experience, but skips on the big main sensor and has only a 2x optical zoom camera. The handset also features a slightly less powerful chipset and no wireless charging, but it does let you save some money.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro remains a solid all-rounder that's easy to recommend The launch price puts it in the tricky situation where early 2025 flagships can be had at the same price and it can't quite match them though.
Once it settles, it's going to be an excellent phone that can deliver impressive value for your money. It offers excellent performance, great display, stellar battery life and an excellent camera - meaning top marks in each of the big 4.
So, in case you are not in a hurry, we recommend waiting a little until the 15T Pro's price settles. If you need it now, we would advise you to first consider if its strengths align with your priorities - it may still be the one for you, it's just not as clear-cut.
