If you feel, as I do, that we ask enough of our cellphones just to be phones this is the one for you. Excellent all around performance, outstanding battery life, and ideal form factor make this the very best of the more than a dozen phones I've owned over the last five years.

you can load mp3's and images and video(128x96) in this phone by blue tooth or connecting by computer for this you have to install motorola phone tools in your system and the software doesn't recognize it easily so you you have to go manual installation of phone and choose the phone from the list either as e398 or v3 etc. as you like and then you can copy your favourite mp3's and images to yhis phone ok bye

It's not dual- or tri-band, it's a quad-band world phone! Which is the reason I just ordered it today.

Hello, I got the L2 at New years, I had the sony ericsson z520a from Fido (Canada) for 6 months and had no troubles, the cameras was bad though, so I gave it to my bro. Loved the L2 slim design and no extra gadgets. But returned it after two weeks. Why? Because phone became hot after only speaking for 20 minutes. The battery life is very short, had to turn off wallpaper, brightness to minimum, and still had to charge it almost every day(very annoying). Also the sturdy looking metal casing, loved it, but during the Canadian winter, when asnwering the phone out of my purse the phone would be freezing against my face.
Otherwise seemed great. But I am going to try the Moto v235 instead.

I have this phone, the cable and the software motorola phone tools but i don't now how can i put skins or themes on it. In the phone i have only 3 folders: Image, Sound and Videos (but i don't see any folder for Skins or Themes) If somebody now how to put Skins or Themes on this phone pls tell me here on in my mail. Thanks!

i just recently got a new pink l2 from cingular nd so far i love the fone but
i cant figure out how you put music on the mp3 player in it!! i have like 2 or 3 usb cables and every time i hook it up to my computer and i go into a media player it says its not compatable!! My computer is a dell!! is there something like a special media player i need or what i relly would like to kno these things!! and if there is something i need to install does any one kno where i can get it like websites or a store and can i get it for free!!

please tell me any info you have on this even if you dont kno all my questions!!!

To glenn: Yesterday I got myself a Bluetooth USB Adapter and with it I could connect my L2 with my PC for files transfering, DAMN HAPPY!!! I been wanting to do this since forever and now I finally could and you can too!

To moshin: Next to the recieved call there is a check mark, without this check mark, it's a miss call! If only they could show the number of times a call is missed/recieved together with the timestamps specifically, it'd been great...

I wanted to own this phone so badly I came to this page almost everyday to read about it and its comments. I finally bought it last Sunday and now I still come on here to read about it. Just wanna say this phone is great! One thing though, the vibration is a little bit "soft", is it like this for everyone elses?

Phone is excellent! Battery life... Amazing! Calls... Ultra clear, Speakers are loud and phone feels great. I like it better than the L7 for sure. Phone is affordable usually around 80-100 through ebay and is great investment! Sticking with this for a long time!

hey..how can v separately know the missd calls and received calls...in my l2...ther is no missd cal list...missd calls too goes to the receivd calls list..
pls help me...

hey..i bot this mob recently...i upgraded from a nokia 6100..but can i know how many messages can i store in the inbox...is it around 50???????soo poor....even nokia 1100 has better memory.
how to install the .jar files???

i dont now your opinion for L2 but i want to swich my phone motorola v235 for L2 because she looks so nice and i dont need to talk a lot just a minut if she keep me im happy and i think that is enough.i dont have nothing to say about my v235 was good but im a person ho likes to swich everything veri quick.

I have to agree with Apu and his coverage issues. I can't get a good signal unless I'm sitting on top of the cell tower. I have two other phones in the house and they both get full signals so it's not the location.

I see comments about the vibrate and I have to agree that unless you have the phone squashed up against your privates you won't know it's vibrating at all.

You can't set up your own ring styles (you can only amend the pre programed ones). And if you save your numbers to the phones mem (the only way to use the phones advanced phone number features) there is no way to do a mass copy to your sim. I don't know if it was just my phone but when I tried to copy the numbers over the soft keys developed a mind of their own which made teh whole process that much harder.

The one good thing about the phone is its look. Moto are on to a good thing here - shame about everything else.
