Having my way trough the specs and its appearance, i must say that this will propably be my next phone. Simply because i have been looking for a long time a mobile that isnt filled with cameras, mp3 players etc. just to get the price up. Plus most of the the phones ive looked over the past years look good but they cost alot and have functions that i dont need (read: i dont want to pay from something i dont need). To me phones (mobile and wire) have alvays been just short contact measures, not toys.
This particular model catched my eye, it looks decent (perhaps it could be more modern-like), its functions match my need (near perfectly) and its no too small (judging py the appearance). Plus, in Finland most of the Nokia models i think look very good cost like hell and some of them (example 6060) have stupid defects like missing outer display and an external antenna.
People say that these are boring and have no "soul", and of course missing functions (mp3, camera, videophone capabilities etc.) but i think some of us just want a phone instead of a toy rattle.

this phone is GUD but nokia might intro mob wid more features and also it would been good if it provides multimedia phone for this Rate

This phone is just made for another profitable market. Think about it, if no one buys such phone, would they even think of even design more of such normal end phone? And don't even comment if people here thinks such phone dont look good. There are more 3G phone models in line now than such "low-end" phones to choose from. If you feel disgusted by the phone, u can don't click the link to read its specs u know...

OK. This is the "comming back to common sense" era of the mobile phones. I believe someone somewhere realized that spending Euro 300 (~ $ 350) - I believe this is the medium cost of a high class mobile phone - is rather stupid when it's use for its basic features: to call somebody. I wonder how many of those who buy expensive mobile phones actually use their full technological capacities? 10 %? Even fewer?
Well done Nokia, I was looking for a decent Nokia made phone. Now I have a few models to choose from.

Yes, I agree with you Marc. For those who blame this phone, just stop using your tongue and use your head. Does everyone in this world have hundreds of dollars to buy a mp3 and million pixels phone? And why don't they use the old phones with the same fonctions? Because they have the right to use new and nice phone which are cheap enough for them. There are also ones who have enough money but don't need camera and mp3 phone. Just ask your grandfather as if he would like to have a mp3 phone? Critics are good for developpement but not in this case.

Some people that comment here, should just think about other people that DO NOT want a phone with mp3 player, camera, bluetooth, etc, simply because they don't use those functions. And all you guys blabbering about having 3mb storage but no way to get data on it... Read better, it can receive MMS.
For god;s sake, please don't comment on phones likes this if you only have something to whine about.

this is an overall opinion!
nokia pfff guys start making good affortable phone's stop being arrogant becouse you made 3310/3330 befor i whose born..
this is not acceptable anymore..

there is no 3mb space n no mp3 player.
like in 1110 n 1600 they said its 4 mb..but therz no 4mb space in them.
now see in 2610 there is no infra,bluetooth,usb port then how to put data into mobile to fill up the 3mb.
the answer is therz no 3mb space.
there will b mp3 ringtones like 1110 n 1600 have..just 3 or 4 mp3 ringtones..nothing more
