Its nice that this phone has a WLAN, but its a pitty that it has no BLUETOOTH. I think that this is a mistake of NOKIA. I think that I buy the 6125 because I need the Bleutooth!

This would have to be one of the best looking phones I have seen in a long time. I am so impressed. 10 Points to Nokia for making a handset that looks.........quite simply, amazing.... The 6136, WOW!

I wish this phone had the design of the 6131. Either way, I'll probably pick this up as a second phone.

hey nettles, just curious how did the laptop guy get other people's phones to enter into pairing mode and then enter the password required for connection??? sorry, but your story sounds like a new urban legend. no offense. seems i had previously heard that nokia had recognized bluetooth technology as an essential feature on modern phones, just like text messaging and were going to include it as standard basic equipment on their phones. surprised that they would skimp on such a practical and now common feature on a mid to high priced phone like this one.

dont get me wrong i love mp3's, 2mp's, bluetooth and all the other funky stuff you get on a phone. is nice that for once someone hasnt got bluetooth. as i said before the older generation will go for this as they have no us or idea about mp3's and stuff (bless them). it seems a basic simple phone which the world is really missing to be honest. if you dont agree then thats cool let me know you opinion. x

For everyone that has asked about the Nokia 6136 having no Bluetooth well heres a story i wish to share with you. There was a guy sitting casually in a cafe with his laptop. He was able to open Bluetooth ports of other peoples mobile phones from his laptop. He was able to copy everyones phonebook directories and messasges from their inbox and outbox and also their multimedia messages. So please think about what technology is capable of and dont bag it out. Not everyone wants their private information shared with the world.

Thanks

Regards
Nettles

this phone is not stylish very basic, quite crappy looking actually not checked its functions though, dont think i want to. the n70 in my mind was a great handset and always will be a great phone.
i must say i do not recommend this handset to people who are into phone accessories

Luke - I agree with you. I did the same thing. I am really disappointed with Mokias .I had the N70 and chagned for a Sumsung , then I had the 6270 and changed back to a samsung with relief. Nokia announce hpones very quickly and then they take ages to be released. The designs are really bad too.

Yes, the phone can connect at a hotspot.

I hate the look of the keypad.

well... another "look a like" phone isn`t it?... well... i see here Nokia is failing very much in offering us a good phone, there is nothing from the part of nokia that can be compared of the technologies of Sony-Ericsson... the good point here is the support of nokia, i mean, Nokia Phones are extreme durable over other companies... i hope some day this Durability be mixed well whit the best technology in Ir, Bluethoot, Wi Fi, camera resolution AND Memory!...

I completely agree with Kal here, i think Nokia are seriously failing to bring out decent looking phones. How can they be so naive, I always used to buy Nokias, but beacuse i cannot find a Nokia that actually looks good i switched to Samsung and bought a Z320i, thats a good looking phone with all of the latest facilities.
