knowing LG,
they'll come out with something better, or a lower grade version in 2 months.
Next year same time, prices will be cut in half :/

The loud speaker's sound quality is good. But the volumn is average only.
The loud speaker is quite fragile. Mine burst on second day and went back to service provider. It happened when i play a high bass music video with loudest volumn and dolby on.
Camera imaging quality is great! But lack of LED light for video recording at dark area is a big minus point.
Touch responsive is ok. Not bad. Cannot and are not meant to be compare with Iphone.
Video playback is the best on its line. It support all types of divx videos.
Video recording is also superb. But for wide screen video recording, you need the right type of memory card. Else it will have the "pause and continue" effect.
I really like this phone. But hope LG will deal with all the weak points as mentioned for the new Renoir successor.

Thanks for the review and the good effort.
you mentioned that you cannot stream youtube video via WiFi, actually my renoir CAN stream youtube videos via WiFi; you just have to disable the provider setting and keep the wifi on, it will work perfectly. The same goes for google map :)

sorry to sound negative but the phones really boring, just like the Viewty, you can't customize anything and its pretty dull anyway, plus without any real OS you can't use the features such as GPS or the Accelometter.. in paper it sounds great 8mp, touch with a 8GB card..
