> In reply to mubaarak @ 2010-12-04 16:06 from vIf$ - click to readits ok if the alignment keep showing in several times, do it for 10 times (or more) in accurate point, you will pass the alignment setting. by the way, did you hard reset the unit? if you do, the alignment will appear in several times either. and you must tap accurately to pass this setting. i hope it may help you.

before you HR, i recommend you to backup your data in storage card.

hi everyone! badly need your help. my phone suddenly stopped working as it should. the power button doesnt' seem to work..it won't turn the phone off or wake it up. the only way to wake it up to to chnage the settings for wake up button to any button. i also need to remove the battery to turn it off. the moment i put the battery back it will just run on by itslf. please advise on what to do.. any help will greatly appreciated..thanks again

I just bought this phone 2 months back. Till now I'm very happy with this device. I just love the qwerty. Touch screen also OK (good to have it though I use it less). I'm using heineken78's "i780.classic.6.5 128WWE" Rom from xda-developers and just love it.

This phone uses Samsung's propitiatory data cable. It has no micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack. Camera is 2Mp. Touch screen a bit OK only. Rest all features impressive.

Yes, Samsung must improve upon this kind of devices. I just love it.

Just wonder when phone hardware also gets standardized like PC hardware so that we can Install different OS's. :)

best phone for your dollar. can do aftermarket upgrade using win mobile 6.5.3 hack works better then 6.1 and more stable. best phone with querty and optical mouse. cant beat it. samsung should improve oon this model the rest is crap. i like buttons

i tried to upgrade my sam i780 on the site that u provided. i'm afraid on the alert saying "it's not a trusted application and it may cause something on my phone" is it safe?! thanks!

Hi folk, ive just bought a Samsung i780 and i do like the phone but where can i find apps and games to install to it from the phone itself without going on a laptop. such as the htc phones have Market Place to download app/games direct from the phone, so wot does the samsung i780 mobile windows phone have to go to? plz help as ive got a 16GB mem card in it and wud like to start installin new apps and games to it but via the phones internet though. hope sumone can help me plz. many thanks Gina.

I have to share this with you… I think for many years to come I will say “Samsung i780 is the best phone I ever had”. I have recently upgraded to Samsung B7330, what a disappointment!!! I realized the reason is the fact that the mouse is so user friendly, it was not necessary to start my laptop for social networking in 2 years because Facebook and Skype worked wonderful. If i780’s were still available on contracts in RSA I would get me a brand new one today!!!!!

its the best phone i have. all functions ready to work and very simply. with 2 batteries make me enjoy and online to go...buy this phone

The phone is not good if you leave it at its factory settings.
But it suddenly becomes very very good if you Flash it with WM6.5.3 ROM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.co...php?t=599652

this phone is quite handy to say.. ive used it about a year now.. the main problem is it takes to long to charge compared to my other hp, around 7hr to fully charge. overall its worth to buy. for second hand unit is around RM400 or USD120 nowdays.. the garmin is also quite hard to install, but maybe technician shop should handle it..
