Presently I own an htc Desire hd and is not happy with it speaker volume and am thinking to replace it with S II. Has any body to advise how the sound system works on this beast. (Both for rear speaker and front ear piece).

Thanks

Hi I'm currently on bada OS platform and planned to switch over to Android platform. Just want to check with you all, can this phone block unwanted call, SMS & Emails ?? Is it need to install some app or built-in natively ??

How about fake call and as well as message scheduling (schedule a time to send the SMS) ??

Is all the Android phone can do all the above mentioned task ??

Thanks in advance.

one thing they have definitely messed up is the GPRS/HSPD they should have used class 32 instead of class 10 and would have made it to be the best phone since the release of Nokia N900 and made it the ultimate iPhone killer

Hey all, i currently have the SE Xperia X10 aka "Piece of POO". No joke, i had to get it replaced 4 times with a 3 month time frame since it would not charge when i connected the USB charger, the one i have now works "OK" but it still lags a bit (Maybe cose i have a bunch of media on it) I am really looking forward to get getting the Galaxy S2. I was first very tempted to get the 1st Captivate but since heard the realease of the S2 in the near futur i told myself i could wait since this phone seems to be pretty cool even compared to the 1st one. Im loving the 2 MP face camera for video calling, the 8 mp cam is pretty sick as well just like the 8.1 mp on the Xperia(garbage). When i try to acess my media files on the SE its very slow even after the 2.1 update, I needa faster and more efficient SP. I also like the fact that when the S2 will be realeased it will already have 2.3 Gingerbread, Saaweeeeet! I think that after watching all these Youtube videos on the S2 and looking at all the specifications of the S2 the only CON that i would have to point out is the fact that there is no LED on this, im a big fan of the LED light but i huess Samsung has been know not to have these on there phone's apparently (some1 told me). Does anybody have any idea when the S2 will be realeased in Canada eh???

Thanks to anyone who replies to this post.

Have a kick ass day!!!

Amazing specifications, looks great compared to Galaxy S which I am using right now. The draw back in Galaxy S is, the battery backup & we cannot forward a SMS (plain text message). Hope in the new I9100 Galaxy S II, these 2 features are given some thought, as I still waiting for its release.

And Gala baby please read further back before asking over and over although it is very odd to ask so many times without an answer on these forums. Yes the back is plastic, but they used a more durable one. It's not the super shiny finger print magnet kind this time and it is supposed to feel better in the hand and give better grip. ..............................................btw PLASTICY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Galaxy S just now and love it and video quality is very good but sound is awful produced from the mics for video recording.

I hope the Galaxy S2 is better in that respect but looking at the video sample it appears to be extremely shaky and no video stabilizer from what I can see.

> In reply to yo @ 2011-03-24 05:17 from PAQQ - click to readThe speed of browsing CAN be down to thehandset, but this ultimately down to the network you are on, if say just for arguments sake, both have same HSDPA HSUPA. In theory same page loads in same time. However if you look at OTA mobile broadband dongles "3" network has the fastest @7.2Mbps. O2,Vodafone,Tmobile all come in @ 3.6Mbps, per TESCO direct. So even with the Galaxy 2 speed @ 21Mbps the network ultimately DECIDES. Orange per ARGOS is also 7.2 Mbps. If anyone knows Virgin mobile broadband dongle (Not fibreoptic) please reply. Hope this info helps
