W700i lacks autofocus. Is autofocus mechanical or software controlled. If it is software controlled can the firmware or anything be upgraded in the w700 to include autofocus?

it is newer and better than the k750 which is now dated and old. it is more aesthetically pleasing then the k750i.
I had the choice between the k750 and w700 I made the right choice, so should you.
W700!!!

No autofocus and no edge, but it is a great phone, and pictures are excellent from the camera. It comes with a price tag to reflect this, it is a bargain phone loaded with the most important features! a 1GB card will cost less than £29 but you do get a 256mb with it.
It supports mp3, mp4, AAC, 3gpp and WAV files.
Ringtones can be assigned from card or phone.
you can set it to vibrate and ring if you want.
it can download apps/games/files
of course it has profiles all phones do.
Anyone else want me to do their researh for them?

Hi,
wanted to know whats the format of the video files supported by this fone?
Can it download software and applications?
Does it ring and vibrate both at the same time?
Does it have profiles i.e Loud, Silent etc
Can the sounds stored in the memory/sim card assigned? or only phone memory ones can be assigned to callers? Please help

Joystick is absolutely fine, I haven't left the phone alone for the last lot of days...
yes, hold in the return key to escape whatever menu your in. (the button with the turned arrow)
Changing the GUI to a menu list is not possible, but once you go into the sub menus they are all lists. Use the number shortcuts for easy navigation, it's great!
A real nice phone, excellent value and now comes with a 2yr warranty in the EU.

Just bought one of these yesterday and seems very good. But how do you control the volume? I can't find anything in the menus or manual.

I have bought this phone a week back.
The battery gets drained off very quickly within 2 days even though I sparingly use my phone to talk and I do switch off my mobile for around 8 hrs when I am asleep.
Can anyone tell me is this normal.
Also
I would like to know the latest firmware for this phone. U can check this out in this way >*
