We still can’t recommend the iPhone 4!
Apple's iPhone 4 is a standout performer in almost every respect. But in lab tests, we've found that it can have reception problems when you touch a spot on the phone's lower left side while you're in an area with a weak signal.
Apple temporarily offered free cases that remedied the problem but discontinued that program on Oct. 1. The company now says it will provide a case upon request to the "small percentage" of buyers who need one.
We agree with Apple that not all iPhone 4 owners will experience reception difficulties. But putting the onus on owners of a product to obtain a remedy to a design flaw is not acceptable to us. We therefore still can't recommend the iPhone 4 and we call on Apple to provide a permanent fix for the phone's reception issues.
Why do you guys rate the iPhone 4 so low, it's a great phone, I love it... It should be rayed around the high 7s at least then to around 8 which is what I vote for. All these spammers make it impossible for real phone users to vote..

David, London, UK, 09 Dec 2010Hi all, how do I check if I have apps running in the background? In addition to this, how do I... moreDouble click the home button where it'll show all the applications which are running in the background. Touch and hold the application icon till it starts to wiggle and then tap on the tiny " - " mark in the red circle to close it.
Hi all, how do I check if I have apps running in the background? In addition to this, how do I close apps running in the background? The bigger picture here is to conserve battery. All advise, opinions and views considered.
Scientists have just discovered that the iPhone is the Emperor of Gaming. Wow!
[deleted post]He can't. Steve Jobs has managed to get the CEO of the decade award, while k2nN has received the brain of the decayed award, so we must excuse his lack of intelligence and crippledness of brain.
Ecept from all the mentioned feauters:
-it gives you the most possitive feeling and thats why it has 300000 apps in appstore and it΄s hack is supported by the best hackers
-it is made from gorila glass and metal and no plastic
-It worths its money and thats why it's price is the same for the older iphones
I visited the opinion page to know more abt the phone n d apps but 90% of the comments r part of d war of words of iphone users and the ppl who hate iphone.
n while writing dis i can read the above instructions.. "No bashing - deliberately and repeatedly bashing the same brand
No trolling - deliberately antagonizing other brand/model users"
David, London, UK, 09 Dec 2010Hi all,
I am new to the family purchasing Iphone. I had to go for the latest version of cou... more*Battery: To ensure your battery lasts, just make sure to close all apps running on the background, reduce your screen brightness... etc. Tip: Google; "How to improve iPhone 4 battery life".
*Jailbreak: Allows handset to run Hacked apps, therefore you can get apps made by developers not registered on the Apple App Store. You're not alone on having a iPhone with original settings, I have it myself. As for benefits and drawbacks... Google it again. You will also be able to find Jailbreaking details on YouTube (Tutorials, Websites...)
*Apps from elsewhere: I'm not entirely sure, I'd advise you to Google it again.
*Radio: You can stream Online Radio, from any online stations that provides this service. Unfortunately the iPhones do not have an AM/FM receptor.
I hope this can clarify some issues for you.

Inder, 09 Dec 2010I Just got iphone 4 16 gb. But when I connect phone with mac, it shows only 14 gb memory available. Phones are like memory cards, you never get the full gb. The other gb go onto the phone software which is already on the iphone 4, this comes off the overall memory thats why.
