This is what you with the new iOS 4.0 update.
photos synced with iphoto turn are extremely blurry.
update deletes all contacts, & BACKUPS WILL NOT RESTORE THEM.
MMS no longer works.
push notifications not functioning.
auto-lock is set @ one minute & the option to change this is greyed out.
update fails & device reboots endlessly.
to all of you who keep thinking that is the best OS now you all know that is buggy as hell.

Or is it something the service provider does. On my mobile phone contract I get a certian amount of bandwidth, it does not matter what phone I use as it is my sim card that interfaces with my service provider

You state that Apple have not been in the Mobile phone market for long. They were not pioneers like Motorola who invented the mobile phone. The technology was readily available WiFi, bluetooth, 3G, video calling etc. Except for a touch user interface that was tweaked and perfected, iPhone is nothing special.

You think how long the iphone has been in the business for approx 4 years now so it's the baby of mobile phone manufactures.
Apple made the right decision in bringing out the iphone because it's changed the way we use mobile phones for ever.
I've had lots of handsets in my days but the Iphone has to of been the best handset i've ever had on question about it.
It's the best h/set when it comes to surfing the internet, Has the best games on the iphone, iphone is the best music player on any phone, tons of apps in the itunes store it has alot going for the h/set.
It's going to be very hard to beat the iphone, Again Apple are still learning as a phone provider yet they are dominating which will explain why they have taken over microsoft as a provider.
Bear in mind the reason why nokia h/sets have sold more than the iphone in some countries is because iphone was limited to certain providers for example o2 in the uk.
Now because all the other carriers have access to the Iphone expect record sales.
The interest of the iphone4 is booming so my advise is to get one only if your serious about technology.
People are moaning about the price, It's not a cheap gadget so if you can't afford one or don't want one then get something else like a sony ericsson.
Expect haters to come on here and have a moan it makes them feel better, Just ignore them there not worth the breath you breath.
I'm looking forward to the iphone 4 guys

Hi. I'm new to Iphone so I have a few questions? Is it possible to buy Iphone4 outside of the USA and on a prepaid basis, without a contract or is it just reserved for AT&T? And is it possible zo connect on the net over 3G or just WiFi?

When will Apple actually start leading in the mobile phone industry?ive been working in the phone industry for years... apple have started some things which we didnt have until they came alone.... for example iphone contracts... even pay as you go they make sure that everyone that is an iphone user has an internet bundle ... usually included in the price... its a big thing.. as before you would have to pay a huge price ... even just for wep use ^_^ ... thats what i think apple have done well... they have connected all of there users through the net!

in 2007 i phone was launched no iphone killer made even no one got near next year iphone 3G no iphone killer again no one even near
in 2009 3GS no iphone killer made but htc hero motorola droid and nexus one came close but no iphone killer but this year superphone motorola droid x just one day before iphone 4 realese now the real game begins this time iphone needs to kill droid

Since Apple is moving from plastic to glass, I think they would have some idea what they are doing. But hey, you drop any phone from that height it's gonna either crack the front screen or the phone will fall apart. (multiple parts) I have an idea! How bout we start making screens out of plastic! That way it won't crack! OH how about Aluminium screens! Ever heard the add on TV? "Stare out your window into metal with all new Aluminium windows!!!"

Apple isn't the only market with so-called "fanboys".

prices 35 euro nokia c2 support 32gb memory card and still iphone 4 have 32gb look n8 with 48gb support and toshiba has built 128gb memory card for mobile for next!

So Funny, good to know that an Apple fanboy agrees to the fact that Apple only sells itz IPhone because of the Apple Logo.
Tomorrow Apple may manufacture microwaves or cars and it would sell only because of it's logo and not feature(only because people admit that Apple products do not have features in it). People go check out the Nokia N8. It's amazing. By the way, Nokia phones are not sold just because of it's logo, it's sold because of it's ease of use and it's good features.

When will Apple actually start leading in the mobile phone industry?What would you know about phones, I've been in the industry for 6 months working for Telstra and the iPhone is the best phone we sell who cares if it doesn't have a decent camera, or other simple basic features that most phones (ie. Blackberry) have, it has the Apple logo on the back and that's all that matters.
