I saw a notice from a Huawei store, not sure if I interpreted it correctly but it seems Huawei will be the one to update current Android OSes in there released units. The notice did not say directly, but mentioned it has worked closely in partner with Google in developing Android.

Anonymous, 30 May 2019Assembled in China not made in china there’s a different between assembled and made.Assembled and Made is different?? Let me ask you one thing. Is the iphone part all supply from around the world and local Chinese Company. Then altogether they made it in a Factory call Foxconn in China, It's called made, not only assemble. Cos' like you said all the Chinese brand phone are all using this type of manufacturing model to produce their phone, so why don't they put it Assemble instead of Made. It's just word trick to make you all feel a bit relief. Actually it's Made in China Too. Cos' it was manufactured in China Foxconn totally.

No issues if US government impose sanctions on Huawei, they are working to build their own android based software important think is when they will launch it?? it can be long as well. Second most important thing is old phone will shutdown and will be useless, so do not buy except their own risk.
On the other hand its superb camera 50 X optic zoom believe you me its amazing camera just like a moon in your hands..........and other features are too good, you will forget other garbage brands...................................

Need help!
Should I go for p30 or p30 pro?
P30 Pro have wireless and reverse charging but I don't really need them and worry that I need to pay extra for features that I won't use.
I'm ok with both IP rating on the phones.
For camera, I kinda prefer with the OIS since I like taking photos handheld and I always use pro mode and hope that OIS can help a bit in this. The telephoto is fine either way for both of the phone.
I like the smaller size and flat screen on P30 over p30 pro.
I need IR blaster (p30 pro) but I also need headphone jack (p30).
Should I sacrifice the headphone jack or IR blaster?
Why can't we just have all the best hardware in one phone. :(

Lilim, 30 May 2019I really love my p30 pro I just hope Huawei don't get banned from Google :( This trade war wo... moreI'm sure there's an article where Huawei and Google have promised no current handsets will be affected as far as Google services / gmail / appstore etc but it will most likely mean your current android version won't be updated, so you might not see android Q , but you should still be able to access Google services and recieve security updates via Huawei
