Well I brought the P9 Plus in Aug 2016 from 2Degrees in New Zealand with the assurance that it was a flagship phone and would get Android updates regularly.
Last update was Nov 2016!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have spoken to Huawei support twice since Feb and been told "We are working on it" but no P9+ in NZ that I know of has an OTA update to Android 7 yet and no security updates since Nov 2016 is NOT how I expect a flagship phone to be treated. We had three Huawei phones in the family (P8, P8 lite and P9 Plus) and we are moving to Samsng as soon as practical as the "Support" from Huawei is abysmal. The P8 was stuck on Android 5 FFS.

Lost my Samsung note 5 in Spain. Months later was going to Amsterdam for tulips, friends said huawei 9plus Leica is good, and so I bought it. Probably better than others..but I'm afraid the coloration etc are electronically over enhanced till things look artificial (auto mode, normal outdoor spring daylight) All other features of this huawei really really bad.. navigation soft keys hard to see, spellings really bad, keyboard swipe very poor, calender lousy, etc..just NOT intuitive. huawei hasn't impressed

Anybody hre experience the sounds becoming low volume but i am not doing it.it will just be become low though in settings the sound for media is high.what i will do is restart the selphoe again and it will be loud again.please can anyvbody help me.

Every one can get phone fault not only p9 plus.....I sole almost 80 phone of p9 & plus ... No one even call me about p9 plus or p9 family..... Working smoothly

Still waiting for stable Nougat update. Never again Huawei. They are very slow in update 🙁
Funny thing is in huawei server we can see new firmware but they are not releasing OTA. Why!!!!!

So after 2 months since I upgraded to Nougat, the phone is obviously worse now, restarting by it self , sometimes switching off, video playing doesn't match the sound, actually many bugs
The only thing is better than before that the screen is not stuttering anymore, but now the whole touch sometimes misses up
I don't know if the software built is getting better in the P10 brothers , but for me I think my first and last Huawei device
Forgot to say the earphones stopped on their on suddenly too

I already used huawei p9 plus for about 6 months. Very smooth phone. Nver lag, never over heat, speaker sound very clear and loud enough. Battery last for a day, with around 5-6 hours daily internet and youtube. I charge at night before sleep, and the battery become 10% when I got home at night before I recharge again. Very satisfied with this phone. =) performance also become slighthy smoother after nougat update. Very recommended to all.

on Nougat batterylife improves a bit, but on update b370 you can see much longer battery life.

Finaly vodafone uk p9 plus update to android 7 EMUI 5 ITS SO GOOD.
