I reverted back to my trusty HTC 10 cause I get better signal on the optus network than the V20 and as much as the DAC is exceptional, the HTC 10 equals the quality and is louder
My equalizer settings for Xiaomi Mi Sport bluetooth earbuds and Audio-Technica ATH M50s headphones:
Music player: BSplayer free
Equalizer app: Equalizer FX
Settings for Equalizer FX:
60Hz: +10.0dB
230Hz: +1.0dB
910Hz: 0.0db
3Khz: +12.0db
14Khz: +4.0db
Virtualization: On (set bar to around 20% of total length)
I get superb, excellent sound from these settings: wired or wireless. I have the B&O version H990DS LG V20. (The non B&O version may have different sound signature and therefore require different equalizer settings). Note: For wired headphone, I like the sound signature better with the "HiFi Quad DAC" turned off/disabled.

Try Xiaomi Mi sport bluetooth earbuds. Excellent with V20 if you want to go wireless. Long battery life too, around 8hrs.As for wired headphones, Audio-Technica ATH M50s sound excellent with V20. Both wired and wireless options are excellent with the V20.

Both sound superb with use of 'equalizer fx' app from playstore and using 'BSplayer free' as music player. I prefer wired headphones for comfortable listening and bluetooth earbuds when I'm on the move. You can get excellent audio quality with both. I do not hear much difference in 32 vs 24 bit playback. Bit rate of source music file is more important.
Hi guys, someone can tell me if the downfall from 32bits /192 Khz listening with wired loudspeakers are 24 bits /192 Khz with Bluetooth ?
Thanks.
AnonD-721176, 08 Dec 2017Are you sure for that brother, because I was thinking of purchasing that from Flipcart ?100% accurate you can also read reviews on flip.. who bought recently from flipkart
i bought when it was around 32k but B&o headphone are not miracles so without them at this price is best buy
Anonymous, 20 Dec 2017I forgot to ask are you using a F800L, S, or K?I am using F800s model with Virgin/Optus network. The phone has poor reception comparing to iPhone 6 and Galaxy s7.

For Australia, the LG V20 model to get should be the H990DS (dual sim variant). The F800 Korean model is seriously missing the critical 700Mhz (B28) band (Optus, Telstra) which gives stronger signals over wider and farther areas and penetrates walls, elevator, basements better where other higher frequency network bands can't penetrate. The Korean model also doesn't have 2300Mhz (B40) used by Optus.

For Australia, you should get the LG V20 - H990DS (dual sim) variant which is the model I have. It covers all the network bands in Australia so you won't have signal reception problems.

I'm betting the F800 supports half of the network bands used in Australia which is why you're getting spotty reception. Just cause a country use a 3-4 bands doesn't mean they use them everywhere which is why you need a phone that supports them all to get great reception as your phone is switching between them all the time until it gets into an area that uses a band your phone doesn't have.

I think that a case as well as protection is useful to easily guide the finger towards the fingerprint reader.
Herp, 19 Dec 2017Recently bought a V20 and thought is was fantastic **except** it didn't get any signal. ... moreYou need to buy the V20 version which has compatible network bands in your country. Otherwise, you will get poor or no signal. From my own experience, it is one of the phones I've owned that has excellent signal. It outperforms my previous Samsung, Lenovo, Xiaomi and Huawei. Only the Xperia XZ premium outperforms it in very low signal areas probably because of the Sony's extra large bezels which helps with signal receprion.
Recently bought a V20 and thought is was fantastic
**except**
it didn't get any signal. Seriously, compared to a range of other phones using the same sim cards and carriers, the V20 consistently had half the reception, if any. To view thousands more examples of this problem google V20 bad reception/signal/antenna etc. So it's great at everything except for being a phone.
