1080p is comparatively low resolution for Snapdragon 810, so the performance should be Outstanding!

Great news from HTC here. I just hope they will reduce the overall size of the phone. That and the bad camera are the only reasons I didn't buy the One. 5' is a great display size for a flagship phone, just the bezels need to be thinned and just keep the same build quality+stereo speakers and it will buy it.

Yes, 1080p! I can barely see pixels on my Galaxy S4 Active (LCD screen), QHD would be a complete waste on me. All I want and need is 1080p on a 5" screen, good battery life, micro sd slot, and the latest hardware. The next HTC flagship could be my next upgrade, and hopefully the XDA community jumps on it.

Maybe HTC will have finally learnt their lessons? I'll wait for the camera samples before believing it. Their 13MP ones were ok but nothing spectacular.

Anonymous, 30 Dec 2014Thin bezels this time please! HTC im sure you can make us proudAnd the Hardware buttons instead of SW sh*ts.
This problem and the SD slot prevents me buying their phones, soft buttons are really, really, really disgusting.
And SD card is really a must, you can't buy easily 64 or 128 gb phones but sd well and simple replacable, f.k safety and speed, I can live with-out it.

So, then I'll proud with HTC, just like old times.
I've used more than 20 models of old generation HTC's.
I still remember of the beautiness of the BlueAngel, Universal, Athena, Artemis, Herald, Blackstone, Kaiser...

Especially BlueAngel and Athena were very brave models, when I was using these phones people were saying to me things like...
                    "Look!! an alien,
                    UWO - Unidentified Walking Object
What the hell you holding on
                    Police, catch this freak!!!"

                    Nice times :)

Remember the Titan... HD2, codename Leo, a legend...

Now I have no intend to buy any HTC device, even cheap ones.
Because I see no more legends or titans from HTC.
                    What a waste...

Thats great specs and all, but what HTC nds to realize is that customer's whove gone bigger dont want to go back down in size. My HTC ONE M8 broke and I got an LG G3 replacement through my insurace. I love my HTC I still think its the best phone in the world, but I just love the screen on the lgg3. I couldnt downgrade. most people who have tried a qhd larger screen device, will not want to go back. Sure the difference is barely discernible but once you've had a taste you dont want to go back!

As a M8 user im glad that HTC learned from that ultrapixel shit. Specs of Hima looks great. They should add a fingerprint sensor (not that crapy samsung fingerprint) and battery should be 3000+mAh and hope they get rid of those on screen buttons and putted them at the HTC logo...Give me those and i'll stay forever at HTC
