Absolutely brilliant. finally I can now update my HTC One S to this new model. The nice smooth body even if it is that of an apple and that's ok as its nice now with an android. Cool. !! Thankyou.

The M7 was an iteration of the HTC One S. The HTC One S' design was heavily influenced by the HTC Legend (HTC's first metal Android phone back in 2010).
You can play this X copied Y game all day long, but the truth is that it really doesn't matter. HTC and Apple have a licensing agreement in place, if they want to use each others design language, they are legally entitled to do so.

Wow, One M7 was a copy of iPhone 5 and now One A9 is a copy of iPhone 6. HTC have no design department I guess. iPhone 5S added gold color and 1 month later M7 added a gold version. iPhone 6 added rose gold and a week later A9 added rose gold.
