Anonymous, 26 Jul 2018Hmm . I'm more talking about adapating to new changes.. not just one.. the fact that you seem... more"but people who buy androids think what can I do with this phone. "
Not my mom, nor my nephew, not my grandpa, not my neighbor and neither my colleagues at work.
From all the people i know there's barely two or three that wants to root their phones because they read what can achieve, but none had do it because of fear, even if i said them that its not that hard.
Seriously, the majority of people dont give a shit about what they can do, but if that phone have that app that everybody else use. We, who discuss about tech related news do care, but we are a minority. That's why the jailbreak community is dying, that's why android OEM are barely interesting in release their code to those who want to really change things. We are simply a rounding number.
Apple fans don't understand configuration, they just want a logo of eaten apple!!!

Pe... moreYou, and the other guy, were the ones claiming that tech savvys had preference for a system in particular, not me. I asked why dou you guys believe that if there is no data to support that claims.

Also I don't think many people buy androids to say they are special or tech savvy.. it's more iPhone users think they are all up with the tech..but people who buy androids think what can I do with this phone. They don't just get a 1000 pound iPhone and send emails texts make phones calls and goo ooo my feature for 1 grand is a emoji machine.. can you honestly tell me that most iPhone users do anything else apart from what I've stated.. o and maybe use Facebook and Twitter..
AnonD-594740, 26 Jul 2018What facts? That you can "do more things" on android? That's an option you have, not entire... moreWell, care to give some stats? To back your point? Because right now your words are hollow. Personalization and full control over a device is quite a motive for tech savvy persons to chose Android over lockedOS
Anonymous, 26 Jul 2018Hmm if you look at the definition of tech savvy you might find out it's pretty hard to be tech... moreWow, so if i can "google something" because Android forces me to learn how to change the wallpaper again, that makes me a "tech savvy"?
If you are the example of what are those people then i cry for android. Not because its a bad system but that is full of users that wants to feel special.
Ironically, that's what you called iphone users!
AnonD-558092, 26 Jul 2018I have never used stats nowhere in my comment. Likewise you didn't.
BUT I have used facts. St... moreWhat facts?
That you can "do more things" on android? That's an option you have, not entirely the motive why a tech savvy would use one OS over another. That's why i ask for statistics.
Syel, 26 Jul 2018And Apple fanboys are still gonna go crazy for them! How ironic!!!Fapple fanboys you mean
AnonD-594740, 26 Jul 2018lol What qualifies you as "tech savvy"? Read blogs like this? Watch popular youtubers all... moreHmm if you look at the definition of tech savvy you might find out it's pretty hard to be tech savvy using a iPhone.. as the software structure barely changes.. unlike android which changes more often than not and forces users to relearn therefore being tech savvy.. as you put it.. Also it refers to it being able to navigate and use computer programs to do such task so such as rooting a phone regardless of following instructions.. is probably a lot more than the typical iPhone user could do.. try do research on big words before you use and don't seem to have a clue what your talking about...
AnonD-594740, 26 Jul 2018I wonder where do you get your statistics?
Or how do you know that the so called "tech savvy"... moreI have never used stats nowhere in my comment. Likewise you didn't.
BUT I have used facts. Strong and undeniable facts.
And Apple fanboys are still gonna go crazy for them! How ironic!!!
Anonymous, 26 Jul 2018LCD don't compare to OLED, OLED screen are more accurate and at the same time offer more vibra... moreHmm your term is accuracy is off technical lcd are more accuracy in terms of creating a panel that's the same. ever oled is slightly different, which is why you see more quality control issues .. yes lcd's can have light bleed. The downside imo of oled's is how the ramp the contrast through the roof.. lucky you can adjust this on later samsung intern of how much colour it's pushing. Though most people seem to think higher contrast looks better.. as if it's tricking the eye a bit like turning up music loud and people seem to think it sounds better..
styloAV, 26 Jul 2018Sorry brother your facts are wrong. People who are tech savy and are concerned about their dat... moreHahaha this makes me laugh so much.. I'm trying to decide if your a troll..
Over 90% of people who buy iPhones do it for the brand name.. and get a case to show the apple logo on the back it's that bad..
They are to thick to know anything about security and think a iPhone will protect all there information.. without doing anything
I bet 99% of them aren't even aware or have heard of greykey.
People who buy android are more lightly to install stuff like anti virus software or be people who monitor firewall activity and even understand what a vpn is and does. Rather than just assuming that because it runs on a different OS it can't get infected. When the iPhone 8 first can out it was slower than the iPhone 7 in real life usage due to lack of optimization..
Yet you believe they are way ahead on security..When they optimization is poor.... need I go on...
nik.007, 26 Jul 2018I know over a dozen iPhone users (over half of them using 2017 models), and NOT A SINGLE one o... moreI would wager the same about Android users. We are phone nerds talking to other phone nerds. The majority of people buy based on price, a recognized brand name, or a salesperson's recommendation. Most know almost nothing about their handset's specs.

What qualifies you as "tech savvy"?
Read blogs like this? Watch popular youtubers all day? Messing around with the settings on your phone/pc? Root a device following instructions like everybody else?
Oh, im really intrigued!

Or how do you know that the so called "tech savvy" use just android the same way that that other guy said use iOS?
Is based on the people surround you?
Cause i can say that the majority of proffesionals use idevices just based on all the accesories you can find for iOS. But i know that its just a market decision.
People seem to be very concerned about having the greatest speed, even though they're not likely ever coming close to needing it.

A tech savvy person, like me, knows how to use an Android phone with all Google services like cloud services, keyboards, email and such disabled. That is why tech savvy people do choose Android, because you can make it work like you want it to work, not like one CEO wants you to use a phone.
Sometime the third-party app (browser) play a big role to the internet speed.
