Hope they can improve the overall camera quality and make its settings more accessible. I was quite dissapointed with the Xperia 1's cam.

Im afraid this phone will just hide behind the competition like always. Same Soc, same display size, same camera tech, most likely a worse battery...and a price higher than anyone else...bring this in a 5,5" formfactor and it will sell like butter (at least in europe). With a 6,7" average phone you won't get the bucks out of the pockets anymore sony.

sounds and looks interesting. hardware ok, remains to see the imaging software performances.
"boxy" looks? personally i like it better than the iphone pill-like excessive rounded corners :) in combination with NO waterfall edges provides a maximum useful display surface for the given overall dimensions. a no-nonsense design to my liking.. if the photos quality will be on par with sammy s20's , i think this is going to be my next phone...

It must be about 1.0um pixels in size, somehow better than other 64MP sensors. But that 12MP 1/1.7" one is going to be the king supreme among all, with nearly 2um pixels size, which should be able to resolve the widest dynamic range for its resolution and incredible low light performance even without the use of any AI-based Night Mode.
