By the way it is not clear which chipset the test device has at DXOmark ?
No wonder here in UK I start finding S20 Ultra on ebay for less than £900. I think next month we will see S20 Ultra around £850 or less (on ebay).
Mi 10 Pro is interesting option, but not coming officially in UK, as far as I know.
Oppo Find X2 Pro still not a date when it will be available in UK... and price confirmation ? If it is as rumored £1100 may be too much (if you can find S20 Ultra for £850-£900)
And the Huawei P40 Pro - it is £899 at the moment with HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 Matte Black as a gift.

MadMel, 22 Apr 202088 score for zoom , not so good for space zoom marketed device. There was one person who kept telling me S20 Ultra would be "on par with" P40 Pro+ (not the regular Pro) in daylight zoom and superior in low light. After seeing the samples on DxOMark's review page, I'm now very confident it's "hell nah".

Not surprised, with Mi 10 Pro's cameras outperforming this phone's in many aspects, I was not expecting a score higher than 125. Sadly software updates couldn't resolve AF issues entirely and most likely lack of mature software processing dragged its feet in artifacts, texture and zoom sections as well. I saw this coming but nonetheless it's still sad to see the world biggest phone company not being able to sort out the problems with one of the most important feature of a modern smartphone while asking people to pay $1400.

If Dxomark ... moreAnd the sad part besides wasting your money is that this is a hardware problem and can't be fixed no matter how many updates they will release. If you want the best photos on a phone, just go with Huawei P series. For a phone that was 1600 euros at launch, this is super disappointing !

I have been a Samsung user for many years but after this recent fraudulent scams with the half-baked camera tech, garbage exynos chip and skyhigh price tag I have ordered a ROG Phone 2 instead.

see S20 Ultra has got 6th rank among Top mobile competitors. Samsung failed again. If Dxomark uses Exynos Version the score would even go down deep. But I have S20Plus Exynos 990 even that would go down much deep in Camera comparison. Worthless Samsung... I wasted my money, i should say...

just saw the review also lower than the mi 10 pro and has some scorers lower than the s10 series and no mention of which processor why is anyone still interested in dxomark scores in 2020 even people in the comments disagreed
