Madalines key bosrd looks very very crammed... hope it is not the new communicator

    1) What about dual sim
    2) I hope they will have a common cross platform/ company agnostic charger

The rumored release date is March 31, 2009. Nokia has not confirmed or denied the date, but expect sometime around April for it to reach retail shops. Nokia rep did confirm release in Q2 09'.

Nokia rep says MSRP is 550 euro. (approx. 710 usd)

I wished Nokia has other color options like black or blue, instead of just brown and white. I did play with the brown version and it looked relatively dark enough.

why does everyone wants a slim phone? slim doesn't means its more stylish..nokia designed their phones in a pocketable, ergonomic package..its so much better than tapping your finger on a thin piece of crap like the retarded i phone..people say its interface is the best, but the truth is, it just has pretty icons

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2009Guys, wait till SAMSUNG unviels thier Solar powered full touch phone. Samsung will leave Nokia... moreSamsung has just developed a mobile processor with built in wireless USB which will connect at 120MB/s compared to Bluetooth @ 2MB/s, no more half hour file transfers.

Samsung are the innovators Nokia are the followers.

It's sad how Nokia fans try to justify camera size they remind me of iPhone users the way they use the same arguments.

how the hell have nokia already got a successor to the n97 and the n97 has just been announced and has not hit the shelves yet, I thought it was quick that they thought of the n97 when the n96 is not even that old.

                              Greetings fellas...
I find it really hard to believe that the designer is so self righteous to consider Nokia or worse so, himself the designers of a mobile so clunky and huge when the in thing is smaller and sleeker mobiles like the iPhone 3G, the G2(possibly) and a lot of the other sleek and SMART phones around in the market. Sure enough these phones have their own down sides but hey which phone is perfect or who is in fact? So lets face it boys, unless Nokia comes up with the Morph in the next 10-20 years I doubt if I'm gonna be impressed with any of their phones barring the E71 which I consider the next best smart phone on the market after the iPhone 3G. Largely for its connectivity and the design.
I hand it out to the designer whoever it may be. He/She has done a remarkable job at designing this piece of marvel which puts the heavy weights of the Blackberry Bold and others to shame in terms of size weight and capabilities.

                              regards,
                              Peace...

Hmmm... My two cents? Those "two" "new" models are actually drafts from what aspired to be the final N97-design.
