I got this handset at eye catching price of Rs 12800 and its actually value for money , although you have to compromise on touch sensitivity.Gui is not that user responsive .One has to get used to use it and find ways to do even simple things in better way.

all my incoming msgs are saving in my folder as a spam msg.. Watz da problem?? Why not itz saving in the phones msg inbox?? Reply guyz.. Thanx in advance..

hi all..i ve been using the tube fr a month..totally satisfied..my qstn relates to the new turn tat symbian has taken..nw tat its open source can we expect more free apps on par with the android?does opening up the source code mean anything to the intrinsic safety nets that symbian is famous for?and i heard that s60v1 is the new name fr v5 that 5800,n97 mini run ..is it jus the nomenclature or is it a totally new releasr?and finally..is it ok to hack my phone?does it harm my phone in anyway?

new update on home page of 5800 on gsmarena,,it in reviews part about 3 boxes down..gsma decided that there has been so much updated since original review they updated it..go read it..

How do you turn off the Camera Sound?On one profile put ringing type "silent" and on that profile there will be no sound vhen you use the camera :)

How do you turn off the Camera Sound?Hey,
I dont think you can unless you put it on silent mode and then take a picture. I know you go into camera and then setting and it says "capture tone" but it does not say anything else. Hope I could help.

HI everyone, my home screen is not allowing me to use touch or the buttons. It does not dial numbers or go into contacts from the home screeen however when I got into the menu both those buttons work (Red and Green for calling and ending a call) - Please help me. It just started doing this a few days ago.

hello,want to buy a nokia 5800.can anyone tell how good it is for a cheap price of 13500bucks.also some are saying v40 upgrade is good,and by v40 it has got touch good response,music,5530 homescreen etc...but some are saying v4o is not good.the problems are sound quality reduces,qwerty keyboard not getting etc...so which version is good actually?

To all trying to download 40.
Dont change your product code as it will void your warranty. Even if the firmware is not available for download for your product code, the guys at nokia store will do it for you for free. That too in an hour and keeping your warranty intact.

I downloaded the nokia Maps loader application on my PC. It allows u to download the maps directly from ur pc to your fone. But I have to download the whole map of my country. Theres also voices available for download in different languages.

i dnt know about ur battery.but i think its good enough.i talk 4-5 hrs,browse 1hr,play music at least 8 hrs a day,also watch vidZ for at least 5 mints in a single day.i have to recharge it once in a day...wht do u think? is it bad? better than every phone..my life time is 460 hrs...i dnt think the battery is bad at all
