Nokia Android Rumors

The name Nokia Daredevil has been doing the rounds for the last couple of days and yesterday we got a look at the camera setup up close. And according to Nokia anew, the codename Daredevil stands for the Nokia 5.2

HMD was planning to add Zeiss, PureDisplay and OZO Audio to Nokia 5.2. So far, everything fits. Therefore, last year's Nokia 5.1 was replaced by the new Nokia 4 - Nokia 5.2 moves to a more expensive segment.#nokia5 #nokiamobile #hmd #nokia #nokia4

According to the tweets, Nokia has been planning to implement some features to the Nokia 5-series from its more expensive models. The features in question are Zeiss optics, PureDisplay and OZO Audio and it all starts to fit perfectly.

Since last year's Nokia 4-series replaced the Nokia 5.1 to some extent, the Nokia 5 should move up the tier ladder. Expect specs somewhere along the line of FHD+ screen, Snapdragon 660, 48MP main camera on the back with Zeiss optics, another ultra wide-angle lens and a 3,500 mAh battery powering it all.

I simply can't grasp why Nokia keeps shying away from IPxy protection. They peaked their success thanks to indestructible phones and one of the main strategy pillars of HMD seems to be to leach on that nostalgia, yet none of their Android smartphones...

Nokia 5 series will no longer be HMD's compromise between their flagships and their level-entry phones... Sweet! Now, Nokia 4 is the new Nokia 5.
