Hell no..it has a worse screen (16m wildfire/256K s version) and the tiny hardware upgrades are not even worth to say..It sure has a gorilla glass, both of them have but is that enough for that price tag? :s here in Turkey, wildfire s price is about 500$ can u believe that?! :o and wildfire is not avaible anymore..For that money, u can easily buy a LG Optimus Black, Samsung Galaxy S (with clear lcd) and similar high-end devices..HTC phones have a great build quality and the sense ui is seriously beautiful, but that's all..

You shud all just get a htc wildfire not the fastest or the latest phone but is similar price to galaxy y. Excellent build quality will last for years screen won't scratch or shatter with one drop lyk this cheap Junk as has gorilla glass and a screen you can actually see more than an inch from your face

All these brand phones are china make+ very poor hardware quality.. They are imported here in india & given above brand names.. & you very well know that these china make phones emits lots of/ above limit radiation which can cause cancer, tumor.. These phone's mic is very bad quality which will absorb very low voice after some months of usage, means unclear+ very low voice will hear to other end person.. Also after sells service is very very bad

For decreasing price more (for poor ppl like us) i would suggest samsung that remove wifi (bcoz here in remote village areas wifi not available), 3g (bcoz 3g is very costly), geo tagging feature bcoz we don't need this..
Remove rear 2mp camera (i have my old n70 for capturing photos n videos)
instead of 32gb microsd card support, add only 4gb microsd card support (4gb is more than enough for poor ppl like us)
you can remove FM radio also (again i have n70 for this)
thus price can be reduced by removing some features

To everyone who complain about the spec of this phone, why don't you subsidize the cost of developing high end phones or subsidize the cost of buying high end phones to make everyone can buy the high end phones at cheap price like this phone or Galaxy Y? If you can't do it, I would suggest you to shut up and stop complaining.

harjeet singh, 11 Mar 2012please make small size super OLED Mobiles too.Well unfortunetely that's impossible...super amoled screens automaticly increase the prices so if they do that they have to sell for high prices, if so there is no point to produce a phone with a small amoled screen..because devices with small screen are low-end..
