Dave, 12 Dec 2010bought a tab yesterday from pc world here in the UK,just over half way down the screen in the ... moreYes that's true, According for the Pixel policy of Samsung, on a Tablet you should have atleast 2-3 dead Pixel then they will replace the entire tab for you & for a LCD TV or LAPTOP's & LCD MONITORS it is more than 7 Dead Pixel's. Also Dead Pixcel is a hardware issue not a software issue so it will not be fixed by a app.

Locked 1 you will have to unlock by flashing the Nandflash Rom of the Tab. Unclocked one you don't have to Flash u can use it directly out of the box.
