Some people having a heating issue with this device but I didn't feel any heating issue at all while using this device. I think it's an environment cause with some people.
Camera heating issue is different in case you use low rating sd card and camera creating start problem sooner with the heat (up to 5 minutes recording). I will recommend Xperia X owner to use internal memory for recording( this reduces that issue up to 16 minutes recording).
Well, I think this device currently in India at Rs. 22k on Flipkart so I will recommend buying this device if you are a fan of Sony brand ( UI smoothness, Display, music and camera top notch).
Great value for money at the price its selling now compared to other brands, solid build quality, great camera and screen resolution, good battery life and the latest software version nougat 7.1.1, what more you can ask for??

Pics come out grainy indoors and in low light conditions, if you switch to manual mode and change EV to +0.7 then you get good light but not great shots also it takes a long time to process the pics so you've to wait to take another shot which is quite annoying.
Is the camera shutdown problem due to overheating solved after nougat update?? Plz answer me. Any Xperia X user.
Been with the phone for almost a week now and here's the summary of my experience. I hope this helps you make a informed decision before buying.
*UI close to stock android
*Decent battery life considering the battery size (Last more than 2hrs with Pokemon GO with Battery Stamina mode enabled for performance)
*Great speaker quality
*Latest Android (7.1.1 with July Security Patch currently)
*The colours of the camera images are great
*Lack of 2.0 supported fast charger in box
*Overheating at times to extent that the camera instantly closes before I can even take a picture, not even going to bother with recording (Google Camera works fine at these times but I worry about frying my internals) (Even with no background apps running)
*Screen's colours are over saturated so don't go online shopping on this phone
*Camera has difficulty focusing, at most times the edges of the photo looks extremely blurry
*Manual camera option are too basic (Open Camera works fine to help get more control over your shot)
*Camera's flash is horrible
*2nd Sim slot is a hybrid SD slot (So you need to decide between an additional Sim or SD card)
Apart from the overheating and camera issues I'm loving the phone so far. It's been more than a year since the phone was released so I doubt these software issues will get fixed by Sony.
The price has dropped to an acceptable amount now. Check the Xiaomi Mi5s (SD 821, Sony IMX378 camera sensor, 3200mah battery) if you're looking for a different flavoured alternative.
