Shivam, 30 Sep 2017which is better xiaomi redmi note4 or Samsung Galaxy a7 If you want an affordable and effective smartphone then go for redmi note 4. If on the other hand, you want a phone that is water resistant and a Samsung branded one then choose A7.
Zack, 30 Sep 2017Absolutely amazing phone for this price. I've been using the phone for last 6 hours, on-screen... moreAgreed, RMN4 is probably the best choice this year IMO:
- 8 identical LITTLE cores means equal parallelization
- screen does not use PWM dimming = no flickering issues as with Samsungs
- FullHD screen, standard aspect ratio
- 4K @ 30fps capable CMOS sensor
- 4GB LPDDR3 - performance on par with DDR3L-1600 SC
- fingerprint reader
- sensible thermal throttling
- relatively easy for servicing
- kernel sources available
- easy to root
- excellent battery performance
- feature coulomb ammeter sensor = it's possible to monitor current consumption
I have benchtested my mido on very CPU intensive task - encoding videos using h265 codec. The task took it 92 hours (all this time on 100% CPU load) and there wasn't a single crash. Android has abysmal RAM management, usually only sub-2GB RAM remains available for the user on 4GB model. Stock MIUI is far from stable, but due to released kernel sources, it's easy to install say AOSP.
So, highly recommended, really good contender overall.
vic, 29 Sep 2017nice phone...bt recently i saw the phone has a bend towards the front..i made it ok myself...a... moreRegarding this try to use less application in background and also remove those application which are not of use for you.

Thank You Mi.
F, 28 Sep 2017I tried to choose the product Redmi but I saw many blasts in YouTube and they use to say that... moreObviously that's something difficult to avoid - some phones DO misbehave, but you have to consider the number of sold units before making assumptions. Out of milions of sold Redmi Note 4s, only 3 "blasted". So there's 0.0003% failure rate, and same chance yours will malfunction. I'd say that's a really good number!
