M using F480 frm last 2 yrs n satisfied wit it. But now, i've two issues n need help:
1)I've forgot the admin password n want to reset?
2)Not able o connect to web. APN settings r correct

Appreciate , if anyone has any suggestion.

I'm deciding or not wether to buy this phone. Should i go for this phone or a phone with a full QWERTY keyboard and touch????

Can anyone know what to if this phone cannot charge. it pauses charging after a minute saying the temperature is too high or too low.

i just bought a card for the phone and wanted to upload some music . on samsung pc studio i have the multimedia manager . is it posible to upload the playlists created there ? uploading one song at the time just takes ages and is very anoying ! please help !

Overall I think it is a good phone but I do agree with the previous comment that the touchscreen sensitivity of this phone has a lot of room for improvement.

Question for anyone who may have any clue - is caller number ID a network or a phone function? You see, my Samsung F480 does not automatically recognize the caller or SMS sender if the network doesn't use the exact number that you saved in your phonebook, e.g., if the number you have saved just contain the area code and mobile number but when he/she calls or texts, and the country code comes out, the number isn't recognized.

I asked a few people who carry Samsung (different models) and they say that they have the same problems. Anybody who can enlighten me on this. Thank you in advance.

I have had this phone for 1 year. I did quite a bit of reading online before I bought, but have been so disappointed.

I use my phone primarily for calls and texting - some of my big issues are as follows:

When texting the EN language button is too easy to hit accidentally. I don't need to change language on my text messages every time I send a message.

When adding a new user, you are not given the option of selecting which number (home, mobile or work number) should be the default phone number. It is possible to do this after you have saved the contact name, but what a hassle!

If I press the dial key to display my last incoming or outgoing calls, I can press the Info key to view other numbers for that caller. However, I CANNOT dial any of the numbers from that screen - very frustrating if you want to call another number for the same contact. You have to exit and go into phonebook to search for the user's name. AAAHHHH!

The predictive text is ridiculous - the word 'it' always displays '48' and the word 'on'or 'no' brings up '66'. You then have to cycle through the other options for this key combination. Who would need '66' as the default option??????

When listening to messages, you must activate the Shortcut keys in order to delete any messages. However, once you have activated the keyboard, it becomes virtually impossible to listen to your messages unless you use the speaker phone! The keyboard is so sensitive that just pressing the phone to your ear starts deleting messages etc. So Wrong!

Turning on the speaker phone - I'm driving and I receive a call. It takes 3 keys (with the call diversion message interrupting) to turn on the Speaker phone. Ridiculous if you are sitting in traffic... 1 button only please!

The list goes on and on... very clunky and not easy to use. I previously had an LG flip phone which beats this phone hands down for ease of use.
