For 5ushi,
Yes I have also Sandisk M2 Card And no PIN number was asked at the first time. My Battery spec has standard battery BST-36, Li-Polymer 3.6V Type CBA-0001004, made in china. Do u have the same spec of battery? There are so many things which is not here in this W200. Like, Cell info display, screen light is always on in any sort of call, no familiar operation with headset push button like change track or FM stations or last call dial, in the daylight and outside, I hardly see anything on the screen. Please suggest.

Also, can you tell me whether the W200 is supposed to come with earbuds (the black wool stuff you put over the earphones for comfort)?
Thanks.

For Subatra...
The battery life will obviously depend on the amount of usage the phone undergoes... (e.g. lots of music listening will obviously drain the battery). However, if the battery runs low even though little has been done, I suggest that you use the battery until it is dead (cannot-turn-the-on-the-phone stage) and recharge the battery for around 12 hours... Do this multiple times, and there should be a considerable increase in battery life... My phone is lasting me (so far) 3 days from the time when I first purchased it (and fully charged it). It's probably because I don't use as much...
Subatra, can you also tell me what the brand of your M2 card was (that came bundled)? Also, did your W200 ask for your PIN when you first started it up? (And did it initiate the Setup Wizard?)
Thanks :]
(Feel free to ask me questions; I am a phone fanatic)

For Mr. Sashi:
I have also bought this just three days ago. Yes, Memory card was in the slot when I bought the phone. I have some problems with the headphone. No operation except cancel any call with this headphone push button. No other operations like track (song) change, FM station change, last call dial are possible with the headphone push button which most of the headphones have these functions. Do u have the same problem? Whenever I listen music in FM or in Player handset should be in my hand, how much it is feasable. And Phone Speaker is not upto the mark. It's average. My expectation falls in this regard as because it is called Walkman Series. And again battery backup is very poor. (I don't know whether it will come to the mark after charging / discharging 3/4 times. Now it lasts only 48 hours. Don't know why SE says only music it lasts 18 hours, talktime 7 hours. Let's see.....Friends, I am able to tell u more in correct after using it 7/8 days...So till then, whoever wants to buy this one, they can check the phone NOKIA 3110 Classic in the same price range (I have just heard yesterday about this phone, heard it is "superb")

I purchased the W200i two days ago...
I noticed that the 128MB M2 card (Sandisk brand) was located in the phones memory card slot when I first started it... Can somebody tell me whether this likewise with you? Also, when I first started the phone, it didn't ask for my PIN, but it started the Setup wizard... Is this also likewise with you? (If this phone is 2nd hand, I am taking it back... PLEASE TELL ME)
Also, some minor bugs: the most significant is when it is playing MP3s in the background... Music suddenly starts looping (repeating) at around half-a-second intervals... I hope a update is released to fix this... The phone doesn't freeze, which I am THANKFUL for~ As for the bundled software, it is not too user friendly... I am a computer fanatic, but I found that the software is quite difficult to use...
Other than that, W200i is a neat phone. I estimate that it will last me around 5-7 years... (My last one (Samsung D600) lasted me 6 months)
PLEASE HELP ME FIND THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTIONS ABOVE!!

W200 can use 1Gb micro cards with no slow-down issues. it could also support 2Gb but afaik this is a low-end phone thus slowdowns would be noticeable but not to iritating :)
HPM-65(W710 earphone),HPM-70(standard walkman earphone),HPM-82(earphone with a play-pause remote),HPM-85(DJ style headphone) and HPM-75(upgrade of HPM-70) are all compatible to this phone.. no issues afterall unless you use HBH-DS970 stereo bluetooth headset lol!

Justice Iftikhar:
i agree tft/tfd is better than ubc and you're ranking is correct, but not all the time:) take note that some tft lcds are "not transflective" thus not allowing display to be readable directly on the sun whilst UBC can do anytime(thanks to SE technology) for example the M600/K510 display is not so legible against the sun while Z530 can supress the sunlight better than those could do.
