The top and bottom bezels on the pixel are huge, the pixel xl looks nice though.
I'll wait for the Pixel 10 with 8K 120fps Video in 2025. It'll be 10 times as quick.
2017 The most ugly phone goes to
1st Pixel 2
2nd Iphone 8/8+
4th Nokia 4,5,6,8
I recall similar comments last year , only to be amazed in reality just how nice view were. Look forward to seeing them. They have character and good specs. Google might have a surprise or two.
By the time Google bring out phones they are always outdated and are always extortionate . I will also be surprised if the battery test on GSMarena says the pixels have a decent battery life ( over 80h endurance)
AnonD-491341, 03 Oct 2017HTC being paid to design this? A whole 1 billion dollars. LoL.
ugly phones google, please you cant make it like this in the smartphone market, maybe in the ugly as asssss market
Damn apple, I mean Google. Since when is your pricing structure like Apple? $100 for only 128GB? I was actually going to consider a pixel XL 2 but not with those tit for tat prices. Where's the 256GB or better yet 512GB storage? No SD card but want to play the Apple pricing strategy? No thanks. Those prices as is would be a lot more competitive and compelling starting with 128 and 256 storage. Maybe even 512 as a 3rd option or 128 or jump to 512GB for second option.
Love playing with camera, fingerprint and sensors compositions... artpiece
They better price it right, cause looks disappointingly including specs
even the positions of camera is discriminating between these two genders HTC and LG....
For the uninformed, the Pixel XL 2 actually has larger bezels than the Pixel 2.
ItÂ’s just that some of the bezels on the XL model are covered/hidden by the top layer of display. No doubt, this is very deceptive to most buyers and GSMArena readers.
When watching a YouTube video, the smaller unit will give you 5.00 inches of 16:9 video.
Whereas the much larger XL unit, will barely bump that up to a 5.47 inches of 16:9 video.
Effectively you are getting a larger phone with a larger display.
You are not getting a equal-or-smaller phone, with a larger-or-equal display.
The BezelÂ’s thus have NOT been shaven off, but deceptively hidden under the guise of an uncommon aspect ratio. ItÂ’s not even 21:9 Movie Standard Ultrawide (which is actually not very common, and a pretty bad ratio, but I digress).
