Similarl... moreWrong, I've used the phone, and it shows 70fps with no throttling, yes it reaches 37 degrees, I don't give rat's about even if it reaches 40 degrees, I use case. And what is the big deal if it heats up? And which f o o l would touch that part.

The CPU is over clocked for the older Cortex-A77 cores which are clocked at 3.13 GHz. Similarly, the GPU is an over-sized core GPU which is probably terribly power hungry. It would be nice to see actual user experience, where I am guessing anything that requires the GPU should reduce batter by 1/2 or 1/3 in actual usage.
Strangely it still doesn't beat the Exynos 1080 in actually scores. Which means the GPU had been solely created for short term bragging rights.

I am guessing the Kirin GPU cannot sustain for more than a few minutes of burst. Before it either overheats, explodes or burns up the battery.

The Snapdragon 875's GPU isn't too bad. Since the Kirin 9000 is based solely on an over-sized and over-cored GPU which probably has huge issued with heat and terrible battery management. Those phone will be exploding if not just heating up bug time.
The 875 will be able to manage performance for long period and also have good battery life.

To be fair, Huawei doesn't aim for the fastest phone. They put more effort into their camera capabilities. I wouldn't mind missing a few fps on my games if it meant my phone can take better photos than the fastest phone.

Damnit Huawei. At least the Kirian chips are improving. Last year, the Kirin 990 couldn’t match the 855+. Now the Kirin 9000 is better than the 865+. Hope to see more chips from Huawei!
