Therefore mr Nokia fanboi the Nokia hardware is worse.

apple is laughing away to the... moreIt costs $A500 more to get 'Comes with Music' on the 5800 in Australia, Apple has nothing on Nokia when it comes to scamming, maybe they should change it to 'Comes with Lube' coz you're gonna get reamed!
iphone has the worst hardware in the history of smartphones.
apple is laughing away to the bank with the money they scammed. other than a slim touchscreen, this phone is complete junk for a phone.
however, it does exactly what the ipod touch does and that's what middle school kids love.

Wolfenstein 3D!! Hahahaha!!! Yeah, great app for a grown man, now at least i know the level of intelligence i am dealing here. I always thought brainwashing was a urban legend, but WOW!! You guys are so potty trained by Apple Mommy is not even funny anymore. You probably have underwear with a big cute shiny Apple logo on the ass and a arrow saying "This is where Steve Jobs ***** me". Are you sure that you only download apps from the appstore or do you connect the usb to your ass and update the latest brainwashing as well? Well i'm off to Belgium in the morning for awhile, so take care Steves mistresses.
Da, 12 Apr 2009The bottom line is why does Jailbreaking and Apple Cracking even exist if Apples products are ... moreSo are you saying that John Carmack from ID software makes crap software?
Wolfenstein 3D on iPhone with more to come.
Trent Resnor from Nine Inch Nails will be releasing a second App soon.
All the big name game developers are making Apps, Microsoft is making Apps like Office.
Developers are making millions.
RIM is copying the App store, Microsoft is copying the App store, Nokia is copying the App store, Google is copying the App store, Palm is copying the App store, Samsung is copying the App store...
...you know why? 1,000,000,000 downloads in 10 months an absolute, undeniable success which has caught all the other manufacturers by surprise and prompts trolling whiners like you to make untrue derogatory statements.
Da, 12 Apr 2009The bottom line is why does Jailbreaking and Apple Cracking even exist if Apples products are ... moreI guess for the same reasons as changing the product codes and debranding exists for other handsets.
People who don't want the restrictions placed by custom firmware from Orange, Vodafone, T-Mobile, O2 etc on their Nokia's and other brands of handsets have been doing it for years.
So why do all these whiners come out and say Apple are the bad guys?
At least I don't have to look at a phone company logo printed on my phone and on the start up and shut down screen.
My iPhone has never been jailbroken and is unlocked I can use any SIM I want.
Da, 12 Apr 2009The bottom line is why does Jailbreaking and Apple Cracking even exist if Apples products are ... morejailbreaking exists for the same reason stealing licenses from windows software does. so scum like you can rob honest developers of their income. and by the way you write like a nine year old, with Downs Syndrome.
Da, 12 Apr 2009The bottom line is why does Jailbreaking and Apple Cracking even exist if Apples products are ... moreIts true that many Iphone users have jailbroken their iphones, but I personally find no reason to myself. The only reasons would be to get video recording, a terminal for hacking, and NES and SNES and PSX emulators. I personally think that Iphone specific games are better on Iphone, and that NES games should stay on the NES, but thats just me. My cousin can hack into computers via wifi FROM his Iphone, its pretty impressive, but I have no need to do that. I've thought about jailbreaking, but I've chosen not to simply because I do not mind what it is that I have through apple. I've seen people hack into all kinds of phones, so by your logic they would all be imperfect.
Da, 12 Apr 2009The bottom line is why does Jailbreaking and Apple Cracking even exist if Apples products are ... moreWow guys the aple was scumming us so much all this days with stolen property from Taiwanese company Elan!

The bottom line is why does Jailbreaking and Apple Cracking even exist if Apples products are so perfect? And why is it Jailbreaking and Apple Cracking is so hugely widespread? People are so tired of Apples "bloodsucking" through the Appstore where there is no quality control whatsoever anymore and 9 out of 10 apps in present time are pure garbage and looks like a 9 year old made it, but Apple users won't admit it to people that they are fed up of being app suckered. Instead they install a Mobile Installation Patch and update cracked apps through iTunes. I read on Apple Insider that at present time 70% of all iPhone are using and uploading cracked applications through iTunes. Now why is that? Isn't the Appstore full of quality and great apps at humane prices?
Anonymous, 12 Apr 2009it is understandable that it may be confusing but it really isnt.
s60v3 is for non-touch sc... moreIt seems DIVX is having a few issues with v5 which may go badly for Samsung if they don't get them sorted for the HD.
I've been using phones a long time the jump from v2 to v3 was a big one, everything basically had to be rewritten from scratch, the jump from v3 to v5 isn't as great.
btw if your wondering what happened to v4 apparantly 4 is unlucky for the Chinese and Nokia don't want to do anything to jeopardize that market.
iPhone OS is extremely stable especially since the launch of 2.21, most of the issues with stability seem to stem from jailbreaking.

s60v3 is for non-touch screen (biggest database of applications - basically for every phone as it was very efficient)
s60v5 is for touchscreen
and s60v2 is very outdated now. none of the smartphones use this now.
so the choices are simple :)
Anonymous, 12 Apr 2009High end phones use Symbian because its perhaps the best available to them. I'd laugh alot if ... moreYou are absolutely right on that, it is the best available to them. But Nokia has basically bought out Symbian by buying the remainder of its shares (or very close to the agreement). The rights to using Symbian is under Nokia so for SE or Samsung to choose it over iphones OS is preference, as apple was not off limits. However, the database for application development with Symbian is a lot larger (although iphones user dont know this) A Simple search for Symian forums in google with tell the truth.
Symbians the most stable OS, as well (unlike the iphone) is very oriented towards organization uses (To-Do lists, Meetings, Memos, Reminders) right on the main screen. Its extremely user friendly this way, as it provides convenience our daily lives - what is actually important. Symbian incorporates the functions of a PDA, probably putting Palm out of business. the menu button is for our applications, but not on our main screen.
Im glad you pointed that out, because not many people are comfortable with forking over $600 for an Nseries, or any other high end SE or Samsung for the matter for better hardware. What is unclassy is when people claim a hot swappable SIM is superior to having a great camera that can record wonderful videos (720p on the Omnia HD) :) Financially if you were prepared to purchase such a device, i would guarantee that all Nseries, SE or samsung devices that offer wonderful hardware would convince you the iphone is nothing in comparison.
As to opening so many applications without crashing, there are unbiased reviews (and youtube videos) with people opening all 80 appliations that comes with the phone. No low memory errors or anything. 128MB of ram is hard to deplete, or near impossible as most reviews call it.
You are correct about autofocus, and having a good lens. Most people dont know how wonderful having it is without actually trying it for themselves, among most things in life. Once you have something great you dont want to downgrade, which is the case with all the cell phones you see being released. To be honest, the iphone is not of slightest threats to any of the big cell manufacturers because of this.
Symbian has a wide range of applications, a lot more to offer than the iphone as ive said before. the link i posted is only a fraction of the applications out there.
Anonymous, 12 Apr 2009btw I know how apple users love their applications. but none of them are aware of the applicat... moreI am well aware that there are roughly 10,000 Native Symbian applications, that they usually break with every new Symbian release (S60v2 to S60v3 to S60v5) and that securing them is a joke for developers, dodgy certificates anyone?
They also run java and flash-lite applications which I suppose require a multitasking environment to work well which have even less security than Symbian applications.
Unless Nokia really start locking down their phones I can't really see them emulating Apple's App store success.
Next on the horizon is hardware the opening of the iPhone dock connector to developers is a huge thing which has gone by virtually unnoticed.
Anonymous, 12 Apr 2009btw I know how apple users love their applications. but none of them are aware of the applicat... moreSymbian does have tons of apps for it, though you'd have to sort out what edition you have and whatnot, which can be frustrating. I used to have an NES and SNES emulator on my N75, which was pretty cool. Having been a symbian user, and a current Iphone user, I personally feel that Iphone apps are cleaner, simpler, more stable, more reliable, and of better overall quality than your average symbian app. There are the "goods" and "bads" of every OS, so it really just depends, but the app store ensures that the quality is of at least a certain level.
