The FCC has put the upcoming Galaxy M10 through the paces of its certification process, a necessary step prior to launch. This has revealed a few more details about the smartphone that will be the entry level model in Samsung's new M series.

The M10 will sport a 6-inch display and a 3,400 mAh battery. Its length and width are 155.7mm and 75.8mm, respectively. According to a past outing in a benchmark's online database, the phone is powered by the Exynos 7870 chipset, paired with 3GB of RAM and 16 or 32GB of expandable storage.

The new device is probably going to launch running Android 8.1 Oreo. Rumor has it you'll get a 13 MP main camera on the rear, and a 5 MP shooter for selfies. The fingerprint sensor is likely to be on the back. The M10 will be offered in blue and dark grey color options, and it might get a limited release only in the Middle East and Asia.
